colourful interiors&features
Daria Razumikhina's home with hand-made shelfs, made specially to keep fabric samples. Looks great!
Colourful interior for a country-house. For me an apartment decorated like this would also be great - very cosy and warm.

Something to color this foggy season
BHG
I just can't get enough of pink paired with turquoise. As I'm using a combo of green and pink in my home now, I think my next home decorating feature will be pinks+bluesHouse Beautyful

Woody Allen's home
According to "Architectural Digest" Woody Allen likes "the warmth of reds and yellows". But when I saw picture of his Manhattan's townhouse I caught this corner, with deep blue vase and plush cherry velvet armchair.

I'm totally in love with blue&pink this season.
This room is a work of designer Jamie Drake, who electrified an art-collecting couple's high-rise home with sensational colours: sky blue, coral pink and various shades of violet.

I like its calmness. It looks like an inside of a soap bubble with its colours and help of chosen accessories - Ryan McGinness calligraphy triptych and transparent vases.

Something borrowed, something new :)
I was speaking of new Kate Spade's vases some time ago, and what have I found today in antiques shop?
Vase of pink glass, made in 1905 in Russia. Costs near 1000$.
History is great, but new one of Kate Spade or IKEA will cost me a lot less:)

Porcelain passion again
Admiring Westwood and other porcelain classics I slightly forgot about treasure we have here - the Imperial Porcelain Manufacture. It has its personal style and ready to compete with the oldest European manufactures.
IPM was established in 1744 by empress Elisabeth, daughter of Peter I. It was named first as Lomonosov Porcelain Factory. It became thus the first porcelain manufactory in Russia and the third in Europe. The company most of all depended on the inclinations and needs of the Imperial court, and first of all, the monarch, so finally it became an Imperial manufactory.
The Imperial Porcelain Factory is most famous for it’s handmade artwork and design. An entire line of products is decorated with pure gold and engraved drawings. Porcelain adorned with rich cobalt, bright warm colors and 22-carat gold have become an established signature theme of the factory.
My interest for porcelain things lays mostly in the tea-sets collections, and products of IPM сan fully satisfy my interest and requirement in it.
I have this piece of IPM art to drink tea:

It was created near the1970, in Soviet Union, so it can be called "historical". It's made of perfect bone porcelain, most precious kind of it, and marked "out of group" (there were 15 complexity groups in production of soviet porcelain, group 1 was the lowest. "Out of group" means a group higher, then 15. First class:)

Porcelain addiction
My eternal love - Wedgwood porcelain tableware collection by Barbara Barry - "Musical chairs". Barbara Barry is one of the world famous interior designers (Savoy and Berkeley hotels in London, accessories for Baccarat etc.).
Collection of cups and plates is absolutely wonderful, it's a full tea set with Barry's iconic furniture designs.I would like to have this set for afternoon tea with friends and for myself alone, enjoying refined taste of tea from a porcelain cup. As a huge fan of tea making and tasting I notice that porcelain cups and teapots gives tea a special taste, which cannot be repeated in usual faience cups.

Colour combinations
Speaking about IKEA - they have many great ideas and good designers. I've bought this small wool rug some time ago, attracted by its colourful stripes, which goes well with my bedroom interior. Then I looked at it and realised that its stripes makes a lot of well-looking combinations , that can be used in different ways. As the carpet lays near my wardrobe - I use it to compose outfits and put my clothes in order of approaching to each other by colour. My favourites are smooth pink&brown, cherry&blue&pistachio, brown&green, vivid pink&dark blue.
Pink&blue
This summer I suddenly get inspired to pink (mostly pastel shades of it), and blue (turquoise) was my great love long before. New IKEA collection of home accessories (vases&bottles) has a great range of pieces I like. All of them could be combined with each other in different ways to bring a light and calm mood.
